Maisons du Monde sell some lovely items both in their shops and on their website and the staff in the Almancil shop are extremely helpful and friendly, however, their delivery costs are very high! Free delivery to the shop if you are able to collect, otherwise €199 delivery for a chest of drawers. The higher the value of your order, the higher the delivery cost. Free delivery on orders of €3,000 or over. It’s a shame as I’m sure this must put people off buying as it did us.
Nice products on the website, but this address is just a small showroom with hardly any stock of furniture items. If you want something delivered that is large, like a sideboard, it costs about 130€ for delivery alone.
