Reviews from visitors:
Great place to sit and enjoy the sunset. But restricted timings is only bad thing there.... A very well maintained property by the government..... Stairs to top was fun to climb.... Also you can take very good photos from light house ......
Its one of the oldest light House in the western coast of India. Located near recreation ground. Can see the birds eye view of the beach if you are on top. Small entrance fee is there. One of Alleppeys heritage centres. Well maintained and one to watch.
This was nice light house with solar power.. Good museum although few Hindi spelling mistake ☺.This will challenge you to climb.. Fun and enjoy
The lighthouse for now is closed but it looks greta at night especially when the lightning is striking .Also you'll find some local kids playing skateboard and creating a truly urban atmosphere.
The visit to the Lighthouse and Museum was worth the time spent. We however did not have time and energy to climb 105 steep stairs, but understandably the view from the top would be great.
Learnt that earlier the Light-source would be Coconut Oil Wicks, but now it is Solar Power.
