Reviews from visitors:
A private museum by one of the city's early entrepreneurs. Collectibles from around the world, mainly lots of crystal. The carvings on elephant tusks are really amazing. Tours are semi-guided. Can spend around 2-3 hours here if one wants to see everything (depending on the level of one's interest). Parking space available for 4-5 cars.
The museum is private. With great collection of ivory and crystal items.
One of the best museum.
If you are travelling to alleppey then you will be passing through this place and this must not be missed if you are in alleppey. It contains collection of classic works of art. The museum is dedicated to Revi Karunakaran who was known for his massive role in improving the coir industry in Kerala.
Ticket price is bit high for museum.Rs.150/person...but its worth it for the art lovers where u can see valuable art from around the world
Good collection of Ivory, Crystal, Silver, wooden furnitures, most of them imported and also wide collection of Tanjaur paintings, all over 150 years. Entry fee Rs 150/- but I felt its worth the money.
