We went on a guided tour that we really enjoyed! It was very interesting to see all the cool art works and hear the stories behind them. Our guide was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the artists and how the art works were created. Corona friendly activity since it was a small group and we wore face masks. I also like that the museum is involved in many social projects that is engaging the neighborhood. Definitely recommend to book a guide tour if you want to explore another side of Amsterdam and learn about street art!
Not a museum but an outside tour around a number of street art pieces. You can pick up a map at the central office, staff is very kind and helpful. We had quite some trouble finding the pieces using the map. We thought most of the pieces were nice but not great. There are better areas of street art in Amsterdam. Still a good initiative and a nice activity to do.
It's a chance for a better understanding of genuine street art. Searching for the works in the open air museum is like a treasure hunt and takes time. The experience would have not been complete without the passionate introduction of the super competent office manager.
Street art is a treasure and worth to see. But the administration of the museum is very rude person. A person who could not communicate with people in a correct way, cannot care about the art.
If you are looking for a traditional format with a gift shop look elsewhere, this is street art on the street run by the irrepressible Ana, who is by fare the museum's best attraction.
