Interesant.
In the heart of Old Antibes, near the Provencal market, the Bar à Absinthe welcomes you every evening in a unique setting. Come and rediscover this forgotten drink in this bar transformed into a museum and dive into the past.
Piano bar evening every Friday and Saturday night.
Excellent quirky museum in a small side street just off the covered market. Not obvious but its hidden away at the back of a shop selling Absinthe. To find it walk to the back of the shop and then down a flight of stairs. The whole bar is underground with parts dating back to Roman times. There's a collection of Absinthe and the special water fountains used with sugar cubes when drinking Absinthe. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. Very worth a visit.
Pkace is really nice, good choice of absinth, but the water already on the tables to prepare the absinth didnt make it feel very clean
