I had the pleasure of recently visiting the ArtAstana Hotel. It's an impressive facility with modern designs in mature neighborhood. Conveniently located about 10-15 minutes by car from the city center this hotel offers access to the downtown for tourists and business. The property is exceptionally clean and has modern amenities. Best of all the food in the restaurant is tasty and affordable. Other highlights include sauna, concierge, WI-Fi, Security and lounge. Ask the 5th floor if you are celebrating or need extra space, while other rooms are also spacious and appropriate for brief visits or if you are seeking the best value for your money in town.
Kulanshi art center, located in the Pyramid, holds exhibitions of Kazakhstan as well as foreign artists and sculptors. In the gallery everyone can see interesting pictures, installations and other things belonging to the world of art. Calm atmosphere and professional employees of the gallery can open you a great world of art.
The St Regis Astana can only be described as nothing shy of excellent. We were celebrating our anniversary there and were treated like royalty. Staff decorated our room, we received free sparkling wine, a free room upgrade, flowers, a cake, complementary wine and chocolate. Service went above and beyond to assure us having a great time. I have been to many great hotels - this one is still exceptional. A true gem with lovely people, great food, beautiful rooms and a stunning venue - indeed the best hotel in Kazakhstan. My room has a gorgeous view of the city and the Baiterek Tower. I can see it right from the bathtub! It is so glorious seeing how beautiful the city is right from my room. I don’t remember how long I just stayed in the tub admiring all the beauty in front of me.
Fab location and decor. Not quite London prices but ultimately the service and quality is exactly what you pay for. The terrace is both relaxed and relaxing. The single drawback is that they slightly obstruct the river view with the balustrade trees. Caveat cookies that come with your drinks!
