Reviews from visitors:
We stopped for my nephew, who has been into puppets lately, but EVERYONE had a lot of fun! Very interesting place! Covid cautious, which is GREAT! But the staff are friendly and seem happy to help. They seem to care that people are genuinely excited about what the place is and they want to spread that excitement! ❤❤❤❤
Been wanting to go here for years and finally had my chance and so glad I did. The Labyrinth and Dark Crystal and Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas are some of my all-time favorite movies it was so awesome to see items and props from those movies. The only downside was that a lot of the extra things where canceled due to covid-19. I hope once this is over with I can go back and enjoy a full experience
A good place for kids (who loves olden day cartoons) and art enthusiasts. The place hold the knowledge of puppets from different parts of the globe and olden day puppet shows on television. The exhibits are arranged neatly with enough information below. The staffs are also friendly. There is limited parkingspace inside the museum compound , but the museum is also very small for that. The tickets seems to be a little overpriced for just the limited number of exhibits inside. ( I am not sure about the shows since the time I visited, no shows were happening. This review is just about the museum)
Very cool exhibits and displays! I learned a lot about puppetry! However, since so much is closed within the museum due to their Covid regulations, it is not really worth $15 admission for 1-2 hours worth of time.
The mask requirements also put a huge damper on the experience. I'm all for supporting museums and other fun places but it truly diminishes my enthusiasm for them when they require masks. I will see about returning when these regulations are no longer in place.
This place is incredible. The Jim Henson exhibit was so much fun, bringing back great memories. I saw a few things I didn't recognize, too. The global exhibit was fascinating as well. Well worth the $15 admission.
