Changed my mind about waiting at the coffee shop next door for a couple enjoying their time selecting the right pastry; to meet a family taking their photos at the Austin's mural instead. They were kind to take our photo there too. After the photo, we meet Todd as a coincidence, the mural’s creator and more antiques signage in the shop. We thanked Tood for his hospitality and for sharing a view of the artwork’s work-in-process. Finished the visit to the Roadhouse Relics Art Gallery and Gifts, returning to the coffee shop to find the couple still making their mind about what to get. Thanks and nice to meet you Todd and “Hank” the dog. Wonderful job! 03/08/2021.
A new place that fits in to the sit and chill of south Austin.
Good beverages, dog friendly, great live music set up, and two food trucks on site that handled a Friday night crowd like a champ.
Best you have a d.d. or ride share here and it isn't just because the parking is tight.
Fun little stop while sightseeing downtown. La Patisserie was a nice hidden gem to grab a snack too!
Cool land mark, other visitors of sight friendly and helpful enough to take your pictures.
Its an iconic painting of Austin and a must go for visitors, so I think it should be better prepared for that. Grass needs to be cutt regularly..
