Reviews from visitors:
Just a lovely relaxing area, we didn't go inside but did pop my head through the door and it looked beautiful and amazing art work as expected, I'd say a nice afternoon can be spent here and a nice coffee or drink can be enjoyed from the square round the corner
Main church of Avola. Place of artistic worship with works of a certain importance.
The mother church of Avola, dedicated to San Nicolò and, at the end of the last century, to San Sebastiano, is located in the center of the town, in the central square, in front of what was once the government building.
This is the reconstruction in a new site of the old church existing in the Avola destroyed by the 1693 earthquake.
It is in late Baroque style.
The interior is unadorned, but with altars full of statues and paintings.
Interesting is the crypt where the bodies of prelates and nobles were dried and where masses were celebrated for the dead.
The most beautiful church in the Syracuse area. Work of white baroque but with facade and scenographic churchyard. Superb the glance
A church erected after the earthquake of 1693. A large facade stands out imposingly on Piazza Umberto I. To see
