Reviews from visitors:
We were there on a Sunday, and the place was still pretty busy. Everything was still decorated for the Chinese New Year, so it looked really festive. In fact, there were still Christmas decorations up from December, but it was all good. The place is beautiful, and the lighting along the canal really gives Ong Ang a pleasant atmosphere. We sampled some of the food from a couple of the stalls along the canal, and it was ok. We always found somewhere to sit, but I could tell it might be a different story if it were any busier. I loved the murals along the walk. There's always something cool to see during your walk. I'll definitely go back and maybe check out the second-floor bar next time.
Very good idea to create an area. However, the design can be much better. The fence is way too high which when you sit next to the canal, you can't see anythings. Not enough seat
Very nice newly renovated canal which offers a pleasant walk, there aren't too many areas like this in Bangkok.
However, as of now it's VERY crowded since it just opened, but I expect this will get quieter in the future which would make things much more enjoyable.
Well thought out and delivered refurbishment of the area around both sides of the canal. The street art is impressive as are to the restaurants in little India at one end of the area
Been there with friends on Mar 20, 2021. People there, e.g. street performers and merchant owners, were so lively and friendly. The location was featured with many small photoshoot spots, free kayaking service (the queue was pretty long) and not too far from MRT.
