Reviews from visitors:
A great place if you're into history as well as art. Many portraits of notable Irish and British individuals, and art from the Modernist era to today. Beautiful building in a historic part of Dublin City centre, and the café in the basement is well worth checking out too.
Fabulous collection of artwork that are predominantly Irish painters. But includes a small international mix of artists. Worth a visit, especially if you have a few hours to browse, it includes wheelchair access throughout. The architectural charm is breathtaking which adds to the experience. I personally enjoyed the Stain Glass room & the Sean Scully room.
great collection of artwork,Really interesting place to visit and lovely cafe on site
Great place to go to better understand Irish appreciation for culture. I’d strongly suggest to read the descriptions in regards of the Lane heritage. Also pretty cool shop at the end. Quick to see but always nice to pop in for some art.
Brilliant place to spend 1-2hrs. It's free, too!
