Reviews from visitors:
Make a reservation online to avoid the queue. Concept is interesting and some of the rooms are real gems. The big success is also the biggest problem. It was simply too crowded to actually take in the art properly
LONG WAITING LINE!
Book a tour (10€ pp) to avoid the usually very long line (90min+).
A must-go when interested in street art. Great styles, great Graffiti, great Tape Art, great colors. More than 100 different rooms by different artists. Check out room 208, it was my favorite. Only open until end of May. Free entry! Donations appreciated.
We queued for 4 hours - OK, it meets all the requirements for generating a lot of hype: street art in a building that will be knocked down after 31 May 2017, free entry, and no photos (so you can better experience the art, OR so you have to come and see it to know what is there...) It adds up to a very big queue unless you are lucky enough to book a place on the tour. There is only a limited number (199) of people allowed in the building at any time, and it takes at least an hour to walk around all the rooms over 5 floors. We came at possibly the worse time -- Saturday noon, where there was a queue of over 350. We waited from 12:15 and got in around 16:00, this is with quite a lot of people around us giving up and leaving. We kept queuing as we felt committed by the time we have waited for an hour! But you should plan better if possible. We were bracing ourselves to be disappointed when we finally got in, but actually we quite enjoyed it, and purchased the book (30 EUR) after our visit. It is worth seeing and probably our visit would be even better if we (1) come at a time when the queue is shorter (2) bring a picnic for the queue, and/or games. If you have something bulky, they can store in the (manned) cloak room during your visit, and they charge 1 EUR per item. Just so you are prepared and can fully enjoy it!
Unique street art show with lots of great artists. The artitsts do guided tours and hang out at the venue. The longest wait is if you arrive between 11:00 am and noon, roughly three hours. It is worth the time, though. No photos, the catalog is 30 EUR. No entry fee, donations are welcome.
Amazing experience! Every room and every corner is full of art and inspiration. Great project.
