Never had an issue with here until today. Having a very creative and crafty 11 year old, this is one of her go to places when we go to town, until today.
Standing in the queue when a second assistant comes to help out on the till and serves someone with a smile asking 'did you find everything you want today' , 'can i interest you in this' and 'do you need a bag' etc, it comes to our turn and my daughter places her purchase on the counter in front of her and just gets a 'move along' not even looking us in the face the whole time, hopefully realising just how rude she had just been. Even my daughter who doesn't usually bother mentioned 'what a rude lady'.
Obviously having a bad day and not treating young customers the same as everyone else.
assistant who gave me balloon sticks as we had exhausted all shops in town very helpful , now have one happy little grandson. Thanks again
Wide selection of children's games and crafts, plus jigsaw puzzles, Christmas cards and gift wrap. I always buy my diaries here - £3 for a large calendar with diary, great value for money. Bought a good book for a third of its recommended price. The assistant was cheerful and friendly.
Lovely and friendly staff, they are very helpful. I love this shop. It has so many bargains and the stocks different each time I go in.
