One of the best museums I've been to! Very interactive and you can actually learn A LOT about wine starting from history, grape types, different vineyards to interviews with sommeliers about who to pair wine with food. Spent >3h. At the end you can enjoy glass of wine and appreciate scenic view of Bordeaux. Also boutique has a big variety of books about wine and accessories. This museum is a must for a wine lover!
Great exhibition not only for adults but also for kids. The audio guides are well integrated and you can access all info anytime. This is very flexible. Nice choice of various presentation techniques.
And it is not Bordeaux biased - a well balanced museum. Don't miss the glass of wine on the upper floor.
A mixed bag. The wine cellar and wine tasting on the roof is very, very nice and the exhibitions are well put together. But - a big but - it's audio guide or nothing. If you don't take the audio guide there is nothing to do, at all. Barely anything has signage and it's very interactive. Don't know how deaf people are supposed to come? If you like reading rather than listening, like me, think twice, but otherwise it's good.
To do but it's needed more that 2hr to visit all
