Worth a stop in to see the stunning bronze sculptures and landscape art. I really liked the pup with his ball and the two moose standing together. The large owl was exquisite with the different patinas.

The Raitman family has done an incredible job of bringing in colorful and visually stunning artists to the area! The gallery is open and approachable, often with one of their featured artists hanging out in the store and painting. Some of our first investments in artwork have been through this gallery and we have never been disappointed with the service and support that the gallery has offered us through many different projects. Extremely fair pricing, and very adaptable with shipping works across the country. We always stop by when we're in town.

We were in Breck for the weekend and wanted to find some nice art for our house (in Denver). The first place we stopped in was Portfolio Gallery. Gi was very friendly and helpful from the start. We found some art by Gina Barry that we really loved. Deborah was helpful with the framing/matting process. The whole experience was excellent! We look forward to stopping in the gallery the next time we are in the area. Thanks, Gi and Deborah! Also, shout out to Gina for the beautiful pieces!

This has been the place for us over the last few years to get our creative on! We love the glass classes, painting ceramics and painting canvas. The owner is amazing...we love her! Date nights for us have been a regular thing here for us. Drinks as you paint or cut glass...yes please!! If you haven't been, get over there! Even with Covid going on, make a reservation and go get creative!

My husband and I just bought our first piece from him, and we are in love with it. His work is beautiful and the print job is high quality. Not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Nick. Very refreshing to visit a gallery that feels approachable and laid back. Check out his gallery!

This is a fantastic gem of a store that I am incredibly grateful for!
There are many prints on display for sale for those of you visiting, but I'm going to focus this review more on photography equipment. FYI.
David is extremely knowledgeable about photography as both an art and a science, and he has always been willing to give me all the advice I can take. And that's on a variety of photography subjects. And with this advice, I've never felt pressured to buy anything in exchange for the advice.
The prices are on on par with Amazon, which reasonable prices in this town are uncommon! They even go so far as to print the Amazon page for many of the camera products, and put it with the product, so you know you aren't getting price gouged.
I love the selection here too. They seem to have all the photography categories, camera bodies (new and old), lenses, bags, lenses, batteries, filters, etc. I wanted to buy a camera bag about a month ago, and David wouldn't let me buy it until brought my gear in, loaded the bag up with what I would put in it, and actually tried it on. I think that is an important story to tell, because that is an experience you won't get at Best Buy or buying online.
The biggest downside for me, living in Summit County, is that everything is in Denver. Especially something as niche as photography. I really can't express how grateful I am to have this store in town. I've only had positive experiences here, and I hope you get a chance to support this local small business as well!

One of the best places I ever been. Beautiful landscapes, professional staff, easy access to any route you chose. Pretty better then Vail for example, because all the ways are straight and clarified by signs. Will come back for sure for those emotions

My husband and I absolutely loved this store. It was fun to look at all the items and we left with quite a few for our log home. The customer service was outstanding!

This place was great. We were visiting on a very cold day and it was the perfect way for our toddler to get out of the cold and have a great time. It was very relaxing and clean and my son thoroughly enjoyed himself. I can't say enough good things. We will be back.

Our four year old grandson was very impressed. He loves large machinery. He pushed on the caboose car to see if he could move it. From an adult perspective, it's really great to have this history preserved. The associated museum is only open seasonally, however. Minus one star.
As a bonus, it's a short walk from this exhibit to the famous Troll sculpture. The four year old mind has hopefully been left with an image of that which will be remembered in his adult years.

We are trying to schedule a early trip in April and wasn’t sure how the water would be. Ellen was a tremendous help and suggested many things for us to do there. I’m very thankful for her honesty and suggestions.
I try to keep this list very up to date. It was last edited in July 2024. You can help me make this page better, for example by letting me know of a street art that should be on the list. Click here to get in touch. Thanks!
