We were in Breck for the weekend and wanted to find some nice art for our house (in Denver). The first place we stopped in was Portfolio Gallery. Gi was very friendly and helpful from the start. We found some art by Gina Barry that we really loved. Deborah was helpful with the framing/matting process. The whole experience was excellent! We look forward to stopping in the gallery the next time we are in the area. Thanks, Gi and Deborah! Also, shout out to Gina for the beautiful pieces!
Great little gallery. Very accessible. Owners are local and kind. Lots of oil, acrylic, and watercolor originals packed into this space. We purchased an oil and will make this a part of our Breckenridge tradition.
I love the concept of "portable" art - small-concept, frames readily available. The artwork was incredible - and I didn't have to wait days for framing or shipping! I bought two pieces by local artist Sandy Bridgewater which are already on my wall back in Virginia. I can't wait to return!
Love this find. What a warm art gallery and having a live artist painting was a bonus. Worth a visit!
A Treasure in Breckenridge...
Porfolio Gallery is a treasure in Breckenridge. We were overwhelmed by the attentiveness of the owners, Alan & Carol, and the artists. Artist, Katie Maher, was especially generous with her time and inspiration for our young artist daughter. We are thrilled to now own her artwork and display it in our home. A variety of other artists were exceptional, as well. This is a must visit in Breckenridge. We look forward to returning on our next visit.
