Reviews from visitors:
Thoroughly enjoyed this museum on a miserable Sunday afternoon. It was quirky and I learnt some fascinating information about Brighton's history. What really stood out for me was the Museum of Transology upstairs. The exhibition was emotive and inspiring. Trans historiography is an essential element of human lived experience and I'd love to see this expanded as a permanent exhibit.
We went to see the Bowie exhibition and it was worth every penny. Lots of images me and my boyfriend had never seen before (and we're big fans). The playlists for each room were amazing and even though the exhibition itself isn't massive we could've spent the whole day there!
Fab Bowie exhibition , well worth seeing for intimate photos of David's tours 73 to 76
A lovely little museum with lots of interesting exhibits for all ages. My 7 year old daughter loves the Egypt bit, and there's always new bits to discover or activities to while away an afternoon.
Love this museum but was a bit disappointed recently when the Ancient Egypt and the Archaeology Galleries were closed. My grand children were too. I know it was to do with covid but hope they can find a way to open it soon, that is after the next lockdown!
