Most beautiful place in Brussels. Recommended to visit both during day and night times especially during Christmas. The music light sync is played and it’s absolutely beautiful and a treat to eyes. It’s extremely crowded most of the time except during early mornings..
A fascinating mural depicting the whole Nero Family. Jan spier at the bottom, holding Meneer Pheip on whose shoulder Madam Nero is standing on whom Nero is setting 4 pigeons free! On the background is Detective Van Zwam searching something on the ground with magnifying glass and below is Adhemar, ofcourse with a book!
Lot of choice, Montana is of excellent quality and value. And very funny and friendly people. Asked questions by email before coming and got an answer within 24 hours.
A hidden gem in the heart of the city, walking distance to Brussel's major museums. If the Horta Museum is too out of the way for you, I highly recommend the Fondation Frison Horta as an alternative.
The house is a living time capsule and active restoration project. Not yet a fully finished house museum, but the lack of velvet ropes makes for a more unique and immersive visit. Well worth the price of admission for the private tour and the explanation of all the work being done to redeem the house's original features, and you have the satisfaction of knowing you have contributed to the future of a great architectural monument. There is still plenty to see in terms of original murals, furniture, and architectural details.
Wow! What space. The ground floor has four rooms that slip on, a double space in the basement and a place of exposure upstairs after climbing a wooden staircase. White walls, a glass bridge and spots that surround the rooms with a warm light highlight the works. Most of the time, these are exhibitions that present various disciplines, from figurative to abstract, not to mention sculpture, where I attended an excellent literary evening organized by MEO editions. They were delighted to present one of their books, do some short readings and take part in a relaxed and unpretentious book signing, and the evening ended with a drink of friendship offered by the boss.
