I want to thank Zach for a most amazing tour of the Street Art in Woodstock. I absolutely loved it and have been recommending it to many of our friends.
Zach was a very attentive and knowledgeable guide who engaged with us in a comfortable and professional manner. It is very special that he lives in the area and is able to add so many anecdotes of how the various Street Art works came into being, stories of the artists and how it has became part of the character of the area.
It was truly a highlight experience and I highly recommend this tour.
Faith47 is a well establish world renowned artist who does very beautiful art murals . There are more of her works in and around Cape Town. This piece was painted on 1 April 2010 , I have been taking photos of this art work for over 9 years and have slowly watched as the city absorbs it back as it decays. Faith47 has stated that hr work is not meant to last forever , and as the years go by , the piece takes on a new and different meaning
Spending time on the streets of Salt River at the Baz-Art International Public Art Festival from 10-14 February 2021. Easy to follow self-guided tour walking & photographing & chatting to international & local street artists whilst they painting 20 additional large-scale murals all over the neighbourhood. Guided tours are also available and can be booked at Baz-Art offices. Well done to the Baz-Art team for an awesome event
This quaint landmark gallery is perfectly positioned in the Cape Town CBD on a cobblestone walkway between the buildings. A wide variety of genres and the owner Gail is arguably the most knowledgeable art dealer in South Africa.
Lovely for a day out. But visit a lady called Shanaaz she has the best koek sisters. A local sweet treat. Close to the cnr of pope and Chatham street... You won't regret it...
