The gate itself is boring but there is a kiosk about 30 seconds away that sells 1euro beer and great Caffe in the shade.
Because it's safe and secure
Impressive monument because is its size and black and white color. It can be seen from Duomo square. So if you're there you are attracted to go. Located at Catania Centro while walking you can see many old buildings that stamped the recent economical or cultural history of the city. The gate itself has also theological marks, implying a complicated history. The square by the gate is large and offers a view opposite of the center.
Hard to park the car, then we got the penalty ticket of €75 after all some nice man told us where to get the car ticket for one hour or more.
We try to find some coffee shop with wifi but unfortunately no one around have.
