It was a fun experience! The museum is small but very cute with lots of love designed. The movie is not the best animation but still it is cute and the effects are fun. It is worth a try all the way! :)
I’m giving this 2 stars, because the staff were hospitable.
But the movie? Wow. It was horribly amazing. It would have been, maybe, something technologically advanced in the 90’s. But it is seriously outdated now. A nice refresh/update of the movie would go a long way.
Save your money. This attraction was worth visiting in 1995, perhaps, but since then animation with 3d and whatever-d effects has moved on, shame those guys weren't informed. The story the movie tells is inconsistent and narrated probably in English, but the acoustic are so poor, it's really hard to understand. The 3-d "museum" is in fact a small entrance hall with ridiculously poorly done murals and tasteless silicone dolls. The staff encouraged us to take photos, so now we have a collection of cheesy pics to remember how we put £42 down the drain. Seriously, avoid.
Billed as the place where education meets entertainment and boy, they weren't wrong! We were both educated AND entertained.
The 9D movie was a sensation, a tour de force through Minoan history. We counted 10D (they are likely being modest)!
Thoroughly recommend.
Enjoyable visit, great for kids even the big ones. Lovely staff who made the visit special.
