Look nice from the outside.
When I went there they are closed due to COVID-19.
Very nice place for someone interested in art, especially south east asian architecture. The amount of details and maquettes is impre2 enough for a small 2 floor ex-residential house. The access inside is also very accessible for students (20 baht for foreign ones and 10 baht for local ones) and a little bit more expensive for adults (60 and 120 respectively).
One issue it may be that most of the writing is accessible only in Thai and you may need a translator (i.e. Google Translate Camera option) to capture all the information.
Finally, there's a small coffee shop in the yard to chill after ending the stroll around the art center.
Found this stall in front of Top Supermarkert. Not ecpecting them to made such a delicious Xio Rong Bao. I had try out the original Xiao Rong Bao at Shanghai old temple. It was super good during late 70 to 80s. Due to their popularwith great volume demand daily. It was not as good as before now a day.
However this stall in Chiang Rai turn out to be very good. The flour skin is thin and semi transparent. Very juicy, it exploded in mouth. I had to vote that this is the best Xio Roung Bao I ever had in Thailand....... May be in asia..... So far...
Nice small museum with exhibition of Lanna architecture and craftsmanship.
Small but lovely exhibition center, with some delicate models of signature Lanna architecture.Have to taken off shoes inside, total enduring time would be about 1 hour including the gift shop. There is a nice cafe beside, large glass widows surrounded. Just chill after the architecture class with cozy environment with the garden.
