A truly great park and playground for kids of all ages it's great to be so close to the ocean and there are many street performers and arts and crafts throughout the week for people to enjoy. My only issue is I wish parking was a little better it tends to get filled out fairly quickly unless you go early or you go on A-day where it's not expected to be busy. Other than that I can't wait to continue to bring my children here.
An excellent place to take a stroll and watch the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Mexico from a pier shared by vendors. You will most likely come across terrific street performers. A lot many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Literally never had a bad experience at this beach. I grew up near the Oregon coast and the thought of being able to swim in the ocean was not something that ever crossed my mind. I first visited St Pete Beach in 2006 and have been back to visit my parents on a number of occasions. There’s plenty to do in the adjacent areas, but you might just find that you don’t ever want to leave this beach! One of my children’s favorite things to do is swim at sunset and we do it every night when we are visiting.
Morning is best if you don't like big crowds and traffic, my favorite time to go. And it's soft like baby powder, water is so clear and not cold, shells are fun to find. Perfect weather!
