Cute little museum about the person behind the statue of liberty. Worth a visit. Museum not that big.
Beautiful as interesting to see and hear about his work!
By far, one of my favorite museums! It is dedicated to the life of the sculpture, Auguste Bartholdi, who is sadly underrated and unknown given all that he has accomplished. This incredible museum showcases a lot of his scale model drafts and progress throughout his life.
I was astounded by the number of sculptures he has creatrd and the story behind how he built the Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the People). It was also fascinating to see the rooms in which he grew up!
Impressive description of Bartholdi's work.
Great museum and where the famous French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi was born. Also an brief insight into the process of construction of the Statue of Liberty, among other famous works of Bartholdi of course. I loved it.
