My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful virtual wine tasting with sommelier Francesco, organized by our daughter as a birthday gift for my wife. Our daughter communicated with Federica, who curated a selection of wines we were able to purchase through our account at Total Wine. We were provided with a detailed booklet to prepare for the wine tasting and take notes throughout. The virtual tasting was accomplished through a Google platform, which was reliable. On the other end, Francesco methodically walked us through each selection of wine, taking his time of explain the characteristics of each region, and then patiently guided us through tasting of each selection. We set aside 1 1/2 hours for this experience, but time flew by and we almost 3 hours later, we were still engaged in this delightful experience. I recommend this virtual experience for anyone seeking to learn more about Italian wines from a knowleadgable and authentic sommelier based in Tuscany (Cortona). You will not regret it!
We did an all day wine trip to Montepulciano, which included 3 wineries, lunch and time to visit the city. Our guide, Francesco, was amazing and very knowledgeable about wine. I would highly recommend this wine tour.
Great group with only your best interest at heart. We worked with Federica who was wonderful to work with. Located in the heart of Cortona made it convenient for us to arrange excursions. Highly recommended.
