We just visited the restaurant - but this is absolutely worth the walk. When you come from the city center by foot, it’s a lot of stairs, but the view is amazing. Prices are absolutely cheap and the staff is super nice!
It is a beautiful place. The view is astounding, some of the best works of "Cortona on the move" are shown here. The bar is pretty neat too.
we had a well deserved lunch after walking up to the fortezza in 35° heat.
we enjoyed a simple tuna and barley salad, pappa di pomodoro (warm thick tomato bread soup)
very friendly and all made en site
The highlight to our trip to Cortona. We walked all the way up there though we could have driven our car. Worth the experience.
