We weren't able to go to Italy this summer because of Covid but Cortona is the first place we will go when travel is back on and Il Pozzo is the first place we'll visit in Cortona. We've re done a few rooms at home so will definitely need some new art work from Ivan!
Beautiful art gallery down an incredibly nicely decorated alley going down. You can easily miss it when you are walking towards the main square.
One of the aquarelas caught my eye, and the owner was really helpful and polite. I ended up buying 3 prints a a very reasonable price.
He offered to ship them but I decided to take them with me, so he rolled them carefully and place them in a hard carton cylinder.
Worth a visit, down a picturesque lane off Via Nazionale. Ivan (Ee-VAHN), the genial proprietor, will show you around or leave you to browse on your own, as you prefer.

No matter how long you are visiting Cortona for this gift shop is a must. They have incredible pieces of art and there is no one more knowledgeable than the shop owner Ivan.
