Reviews from visitors:
A nice museum that exhibits parts of the history of the city of Dresden. There is also a small art exhibition. Since we were there Friday afternoon, the entrance was free.
A wonderful museum covering a lot of history of Dresden with amazing pieces of art and displays of the city at different times. It has a quaint and silent vibe allowing your thoughts to dwell upon the old culture. It's missing the 5 just because the audio files available for explaining doesn't come in English. Please try to change that
Very interactive museum that takes you through the full history of Dresden not just WW2, interactive, kids loved it, can only recommend.
I truly recommend the museum. You get to understand so much better the architecture of the city and also learn how all the historical events and wars have affected its development. The history goes from before the medieval times up to the fall of the wall, so it is a comprehensive tour. If you are a student, remember to show your student card to get a discount in the ticket.
This museum has the story of Dresden city : past, present and the future. It also has a gallery. To have access to all ;gallery and the other historical floors, a fee of 6€ is required. However, if you need only one part of the two, goes for 4€. I recommend visiting this museum if you want to see the complete history of Dresden.
