2 Olivier Cornet Gallery

images
I recently found this hidden treasure of an art Gallery on Gardiner Row, not far away from the Writers Museum and Hugh Lane Gallery. The Curator, Olivier is very friendly and unassuming, and it was refreshing to receive such a warm welcome. No pressure, no unwanted attention and ready, willing and able to assist with any of the interesting and diverse works of Art not easily found elsewhere. Minute attention to detail and very interesting contemporary exhibitions and involvement in many current issues being expressed through Media and the Arts. I love it and I’m looking forward to my next visit already! There’s a sign to ring the doorbell – I think you’ll be glad you did!
3 The Hugh Lane

A great place if you're into history as well as art. Many portraits of notable Irish and British individuals, and art from the Modernist era to today. Beautiful building in a historic part of Dublin City centre, and the café in the basement is well worth checking out too.
5 JANDO

I first received a gift from a family member of a jando print back in 2016. The quality and presentation in the frame blew me away! I've since bought 4 more prints for my home and the communication & service from this company is always amazing! I highly recommend them!
6 The Chocolate Factory Art

Lovely venue (we were there for a wedding) with a very unique look and plenty of atmosphere. Nice cafe downstairs where we had our dinner after the ceremony. The staff seemed excellent and it's very close to loads of transport options, not to mention Cineworld cinema and it's large 24 hour car park.
7 Oonagh Young Gallery

Amazing NewYork-style gallery, and a knowledgeable, approachable owner.
8 Art & Hobby

Brilliant shop.
Lovely staff.
Great range of art supplies, games and fun oddities to suit all budgets!
My daughter , 9, loves the Art and Hobby shop ❤
10 The LAB

images
Affordable pricing and friendly staff. Rooms are very spacious but sound can be an issue from neighbouring rooms.
Parking can be expensive for the day but that's outside The Lab's control.
One of the rooms I was in didn't have full control over blocking incoming light which was an inconvenience.
14 Sol Art Gallery

images
In my opinion, the best Art Gallery in Ireland. They've curated a very impressive array of artists, from award winning students to household names (with a price range to match). The gallery is a great space, and when you find an artist of interest, they inevitably have more works to pull from storage and many artist related stories. They also let you try artworks in your home. Sol Art is a, sadly, rare example of a gallery completely focused on making customers happy and artists successful.
16 Jam Art Factory

I bought a fabulous print of the guys during lockdown. They were so helpful over email and answered all my questions. They were able to frame the poster I bought also and even dropping the painting to my partners workplace nearby as I live outside Dublin. Thanks for everything.
