Reviews from visitors:
This place was incredibly informative and gave an objective insight as to what life was like during communist rule in Yugoslavia. The owners read through nearly 100 years of archived newspaper articles in order to give as much context as possible. I ended up staying a bit longer than originally planned because they were kind enough to engage with me in conversation and answer all the questions that I had. Highly recommend.
We loved this place! It was a great way to spend a rainy day in Dubrovnik. The entire museum is so well put together-- it is extremely informational, so fun, and interactive!
Remarkable small museum in the port area of Dubrovnik. The museum deals with the communist history of croatia and does a very good job in presenting the hard historical facts as well as showing how people lived in this period. There are many interactive elements - nearly everything can be touched - and they have an own smartphone app with a augmented reality feature (which should be expanded).
Fun, Informative, Educational, Interactive - all components each modern museum should have! Definitely recommending to visit! Great value for money as well!
Great museum with very interactive exhibitions. It's not a huge place but especially good for families to introduce them to the Yugoslav history and Croatia's role. You can do the museum comfortably in 2 hours and it's a great activity if you're on holiday to learn more about the area.
