I was a visitor to Durban and wanted to buy a painting and needed help in selecting one which I liked and loved. Joy was patient and knowledgeable and honed in on what I wanted quickly and accurately enabling me to choose something I will always value. Her assistance and skill was invaluable. Her framing advice and execution was superb.
Joy is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She stocks a wide range of artworks from a diverse number of African artists and has the expertise to advise on appropriate works for your taste. A painting restored by the gallery was beautifully done as were the artworks she had framed for me. Several of the pieces from her gallery hang in my home in Sydney.
I was there not so long ago, it said they were open but it was locked. We tried to ring the bell but no one came to attend to us. Not great at all.
