Reviews from visitors:
I walked into this museum not expecting to be impressed, but was I wrong. I was amazed that there was so much to see and learn. Things I never knew and things I thought I knew. The museum is arranged in a timeline structure from first recognizing there was a disease that was killing many people to the present day.
They also have temporary exhibits that change, I think monthly so repeating visitors can be assured on seeing and learning something new or something you thought you knew already.
Treat yourself to a surprise and visit
Glad to know that the World AIDS MUSEUM and Educational Center is located in South Florida. I had an opportunity to tour the museum and speak with their team and was impressed with their collection and amount of knowledge about the history of AIDS around the world.
Very informative and well laid out museum. Staff are very friendly and explain things very accessible. Well maintained very clean.
Great place to learn and read real HIV/Aids History
Great place. Under supported. Deserves more support from people, government, legislators, City officials and the LGBT community as a whole. In need of a larger building to house all available exhibits. Any philanthropists out there looking to support a great cause please reach out to the museum!
