2 Fishing Pier Fort Myers Beach

images
My favorite beach to go to! Love walking around the little town. The sand is very soft and the water is beautiful. I have been going to Fort Myers Beach since I was young and will always make it my go to spot for relaxing and having and good time with family and friends.
Parking is usually less than $8 bucks depending on how close you park by the water.
My girlfriend and I love spending the day here
3 Lacy McClary Studio and Gallery

images
I have commissioned several large and small paintings from Lacy McClary Studio and Gallery. Commissioning art is a great way to get more affordable art pieces, personalize your collection, or acquire artworks that complement your living space. It is a very personal process for everyone involved and Lacy made the process enjoyable. In fact, the pay off at the end when you receive a one-of-a-kind art piece, tailor-made for your collection is very gratifying. It gives me great pleasure to recommend Lacy Mcclary Studio and Gallery.

I have bought many items each year that I have been at Ft Myers Beach, including gift items this year. The quality is excellent. The associates are always friendly and helpful. I like well made clothes.
5 Mound House

images
Very interesting! Enjoyed the tours immensely! I highly recommend it. Been coming here for years and never new this existed. So glad we discovered this gem in FT. Myers! Great history information.
6 Bowditch Point Park

images
Lots and lots of smaller shells. You have to get here early in the morning to get the really nice ones though. They get picked up quickly. If the smaller ones are what you want then bring a big shovel. You can get them by the bucketful. Nice beautiful sand and clear water. Beach is nice and clean as well as the facility.
7 Lynn Hall Beach Park

images
Is just wonderful! The water is so refreshing, the walk around the town with many varieties of food makes you Hall Beach Park the perfect vacation!
I even experienced a magic show ! Highly recommended!
8 The Goodz

images
We stopped in twice this week. I'm not sure if he is the owner but I believe the owner was there and directed me in my purchase. Cool guy. I think it's pretty cool that they have a hardware side to the business.
9 Salty Sam's Pirate Cruise

images
We took our grandkids on the cruise this past Sunday afternoon. They were totally engaged the entire time we were there. The “crew” did an excellent job with the kids. They possessed so much energy and they made every child feel special. They made a point in engaging all passengers from the very young to the older folks like us. What a delightful afternoon. We would highly recommend this adventure if your are looking for something different for your little ones. We had such a good time we will be looking into the adult cruise that they offer as well. Thanks again for a great time!
10 ArtFest Fort Myers

images
Excellent art show. Well juried, and a nice assortment of media. Saw some fantastic artists we hadn't run across for quite a while. The location for the show is easy to get to, and parking is easy if you don't try to get too close. Walking a little pays off
11 Shucker's at the Gulfshore and The Cottage Bar

images
On December 30th I reserved a section of the beach bar and cabana and would 10/10 recommend it again! The staff was so polite and accommodating. Bria did an awesome job of keeping an open line of communication and getting us whatever we needed. This place is amazing!! A must visit spot! (Party guests really liked the pulled pork sliders, beach bread and shrimp combo appetizers.)
13 Another Time

Great shop with unique collection of art. A lot of steampunk as well as some nautical stuff.
I had a great customer service interaction with one of the owners over a piece I bought that was mistakenly swapped with a different piece while being packed. I called and we offered to ship the correct piece with a label to return the incorrect piece. Once he got it out, he texted that I could just keep the incorrect piece and the correct one would be arriving within a few days. My wife and I will be back in to browse and shop their collection again for sure.
14 Teeki Hut

images
Great little t-shirt shop - we got some cool henna tattoos and I bought a few super cute anklets. There was a long line and the staff was very friendly.
15 Lover's Key State Park

images
Decent parking. Kayak launch closed now, but we made our own..♀️... new building going up... toilets at old building are a step up from an outhouse...but atleast they have them. Beach is wonderful! Tram car runs for those that want to go further down beach...
16 Newton Park

images
Newton Park is a great little beach. It has paid parking (currently $3/hr.) and even on busy days, we've found places to park. The water is shallow a good ways out, so kids or weaker swimmers have lots of room to enjoy the sand water and sun. The sand is fine like powder - sticks everywhere, but beautiful for the feet or laying on. There's also a Publix just a couple blocks away if you need to pick up snacks or grab last minute supplies.
17 DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts

images
This is art gallery in Fort Myers is chock full with a variety of professional artists. I believe there are 25-30 artists. They offer sculpture, mixed media, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, jewelry, greeting cards, and so much more! Every time I visit this gallery, I always find something I love and purchase, either for myself or as a gift.
The artists work at the gallery, thereby offering visitors the chance to meet artists and learn about their technique.
Also, the gallery offers classes, ranging from masking tape sculpture (I took this class and it was awesome!), sketching, music, wine and art nights, and more.
Highly recommend. You won't regret visiting this gallery. It'll be you "go to" place for all things gifts and art.
18 Lovers Key State Park

images
This is a great day experience if you are looking to get away from some of the more tourist type beaches in Fort Myers. Located on the barrier islands between Fort Myers and Bonita Beach, the state park is easy to get to as long as you go early in the morning. The park opens at 8 am and Lovers Key Adventures opens at 9 am. As with any state park, there is an $8 fee to enter however the parking, when you can find it and if you can squeeze your car into the narrower than normal space, is free after you are in.
The Lovers Key Kayak Adventure is a 5 mile out and back water trail that is definitely worth the price. $63 for a double kayak (singles also available) for 4 hours which is plenty of enough time to go out 2.5 miles and then back. Along the way, we saw three manatees that swam right underneath our kayak, an alligator along the shore, a falcon, and hundreds of comb jellyfish. Staff was great and there is no need to make reservations unless you are planning to go on a guided tour. There are great walking and bike trails along the estuary as well.
After you are done kayaking, walk the 1000 feet to the beach or take the tram to the south end of the island where they have restrooms and concessions. Great sand and surf! A truly great way to spend the day. Did I mention that you should get there early?
19 Arts For Act Gallery

images
This is a very unique art gallery, the store front is deceiving because the store goes on forever. Many different art pieces that are reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
20 Looking Glass Art Gallery

images
Absolutely wonderful. Ran and owned by sisters. Most of the art on display is for sale. If you're having an event or just want somewhere to go look at really amazing things that you can TOUCH and take beautiful photos look no further. Events are reasonably priced. They provide the tables and chairs. Their establishment is very clean and wonderfully decorated.
I try to keep this list very up to date. It was last edited in January 2025. You can help me make this page better, for example by letting me know of a street art that should be on the list. Click here to get in touch. Thanks!
