I just want to say, not only is the atmosphere at Nellie's incredibly humble, inviting and friendly, but one of the Waitresses / Bartenders there I was especially happy with! Her name is Misty, and she was the reason we felt comfortable, happy and felt right at home! She has such an amazing personality, she's efficient with her time and she was incredibly sweet and accommodating to us during our meal! She's definitely an excellent asset to their team over there at Nellie's and if you have the chance, definitely ask for her as your server! I've worked, and still currently do work, in the service industry for quite some time now. I can always tell an excellent server from a not so good one. She immediately surprised us by being easily one of the best servers I've ever had in my experience going out to eat! I don't usually ever write reviews about anything, and she made us so happy that I felt it was only right to give her a shout out! We'll definitely be back and bring more people next time! THANK YOU MISTY!!
The "pain killer" cocktail was perfect!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Faiza to have our wedding reception at Nervous Nellie's! It was absolutely perfect!! Thank you to each and every staff member that helped make our big day so special! The food was beyond delicious...the service was incredible...and the entire night was perfect!! Thank you for the most amazing experience...it is a night we will never forget!
This restaurant does not practice social distancing! Sure everyone wears a mask, but the hostess seats you within inches of others. The manager's response was "we should not eat out if we are too scared". The general manager's response was "we do practice social distancing outside". Even though we were moved to another table further away, the hostess tried to seat people way too close unless we spoke up. We are "too scared" to go back to this restaurant, but there are many others doing a great job of social distancing!
In response: There was no thunderstorm that evening and I have pictures I can post if you would like to see them?! The backs of chairs are supposed to be six feet apart from each other as your management has had recently explained to them.
Drinks are wonderful. Staff is very nice. One major problem was all the food came at the same time. Soup, salad, appetizers and main meal it wasn't spaced out like it should be. Plus one person never got her salad. The prices do not match the food (seafood) you get, too high.
