Many closed and missing stores. Excellent art and crafts in the places that were open. Most likely impacted by the shut downs due to Covid. Would recommend. Hoping the community will rebound.
This is such a hidden gem! The people you meet in the shops are so true to their art and skill and just talking to them and watching them work is a treat in itself! Such a great time
If you like unique handmade crafts, signs, and some artwork, check out the Great Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community just outside of Gatlinburg off of 321. There are several unique shops back here! It is easy to spend a day shopping. Plus, you will be supporting locally owned businesses and not the big chain stores.
A lot of different artists and their wears. Something for everyone. Now there are several places to dine at. Our favorite place there is Cliff dwellers.
Nice to visit but some of the stores were closed could be due to the season, weather or COVID. Ones we saw were nice though
