We just stumbled across Sparky's Glass Blowing Shop by accident. We absolutely loved his shop. We must have spent half an hour just hanging out and chatting with Sparky. He took the time to stop what he was working on and actually make us something while we waited. It was absolutely fantastic to watch him work. We would recommend his shop to absolutely anyone who has a love for had crafted art.
This place is truly amazing!! Owner and wife are extremely nice and have the best customer service! THEY TREAT VETS EXTREMELY LIKE FAMILY!! the art work there is remarkable! ALSO THEY DO LESSONS!! how awesome is that?! Sparky cracks me up with his jokes! If your in Gatlinburg you have to stop by and say hi! I'm sure he they will brighten your day!!
Absolutely a hidden gem. The shop has some great items. The glass blowing class is absolutely worth every penny. The Shop owner is a tremendous individual and made the experience that much better with his conversation. My wife really enjoyed it getting to try her hand at it.
This place should be on your visit list along with some of the other shops around it.
I had the best lesson in glassblowing today with Sparky! His knowledge, passion and gift for educating me created a wonderful experience! I loved making my bear and two ornaments! I highly recommend a stop to this shop he runs with his wife! Both of them are gems!!! Ten stars!
Fun class and sparky is so patient! Must visit when in town worth the stop. We will be back.
