We have been to Gdansk many times but last night was our first visit to the Riverside restaurant. Actually we only went in on the first instance for a drink as we liked the look of the nice comfy seats. We ended up staying for food as the menu looked so appetising. The food was absolutely delicious and along with the lovely river setting and the fantastic friendly staff we had a really enjoyable evening
Will definitely be back here again.
Quite nice breakfast, service. Food and drinks arrived fast, but the music in the dining area was blasting very loud. Great tunes though!!!
The first time I went there, it was great. I had shots of soplica and the French fries. Today I went there for the second time and I chose the ribs. I was looking forward to them, but unfortunately, they were the worse ribs I had anywhere around the world. Not only they were blunt, half of them was just fat. I would never get something like this in the US. So if you’re looking for good ribs, this is definitely NOT the place to go. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place for food. Drinks, the staff and the view is nice, unfortunately, the rest is not worth it.
Giving this 5 stars not because it’s the best restaurant in Gdańsk, but because it’s a great example of its type. If you want a beer, a burger or some hearty traditional Polish food, and all at a reasonable price, look no further. A million miles from fine dining, but lively, good food and great value.
It's OK. Just an average place serving mostly Czech beers. I do not trust places that serve hummus or shrimps or kimchi or schnitzel... Positives are helpful service, tasty cocktails and long time food service.
