Reviews from visitors:
Brightens up an otherwise dull car park. Very long mural, pity the cars get in the way of photos.
Love the art got a nice photoshoot done there with the car
Absolutely the best, for an ancient pot holed car park the mural so brightens up the whole area. Publicise it more.
The wall covering the painting are done sensationally with multiple colors. It's very adjacent to the car park area!!! Good place to have some snaps!!!
This is one of around 16 murals dotted round the centre (mostly) of Glasgow. Most of the murals are very skilfully executed (I didn't rate the "Astronaut" one, but others are impressive and interesting). Certainly eye-catching. Doing the walk from George square to York Street (where "the Gallery" series is found) took two hours at a leisurely pace. We missed out the Swimmer and the Hand Shadow pics.
There are loads of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants all along the route.
I thought the most impressive murals were "St Mungo", "Glasgow residents", (including a red squirrel - aye right!) "Honey I Shrunk the Kids", and Charles Rennie Macintosh's picture at the Clutha bar. Though several of the ones at Strathclyde university were also skilfully done.
It's a fun interesting walk to do, and you can make it shorter as well if you like.
