Outstanding art awards programme in a charming rural venue.
The entries were of such a high standard that one could not help being impressed.
We thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely tour of all categories with frequent discussions with others and several volunteers who were on hand to generously assist with their expertise and knowledge.
I would encourage anybody with even a passing interest in art to attend and appreciate these fine paintings which incidentally included a remarkable one by an artist I met 61 years ago.
Good to go and look at there are some absolutely excellent artists here of very high quality.
My first time to this very popular annual Art Awards and was surprised by the large amount of art on show with some very fine works - the drinks and food were a bonus for the large and friendly crowd of people in attendance. Was a good night.
