Pretty good place to get shoes for children and women. Prices are reasonable and there are good bargains to be had at the appropriate times of year. As far as I can tell, however, there are absolutely no shoes for men, which I do find rather strange. (The other Street shops that I have been to have had at least a small range of men's shoes.) service is OK.
The shoes that I couldn't find in downtown Hanover and Hildesheim, I found here in my size.
I was in the Street Shoe's store at 5:30 p.m. today. The seller asked me kindly first if she could help me, I said no. When I had a question about the sports shoes, whether they could also be used as jogging shoes, I got a pampy answer "we are a normal shoe store, not a sports shoe store",
I should go to a specialist shop, please. I said that it was only a question, she replied snappily "It was only an answer". As a seller of such a shop absolutely out of place. I never visit this shop again, because you probably can't ask everyday questions here.
I was looking for certain shoes from my window in my size. The first saleswoman was nice. A few minutes later, this was no longer visible, so I turned to another salesperson who was within range. Me: "Excuse me, I'm looking for these size 38 shoes."
The saleswoman, who was only busy with sorting shoes, shouted: "If the colleague is in the back! Otherwise we only have what is in front here, they are all placed around. Otherwise they have to ask the colleague.
Aha. I left the shop immediately because of the effortlessness of this woman, and I rarely do. She could have asked her colleague on her own initiative, or could have watched it herself. But no, that was too much for her.
No wonder people are ordering more and more online !!!
A shoe store that is clear, with a wide range of modern shoes, with brands such as Rieker, which I prefer. I can look around in peace, but I also get help quickly when I need it. The staff is competent and friendly, also to my dog, which is very important to me.
