Review for New Years Day 2021.
What an amazing place to spend New Years Day! Beautiful flowers and fabulous sculptures line the boardwalk from beginning to end.
The security set up for this year kept everyone who visited safe. Face masks required. Very safe and fun for the whole family.
This walking street in District 1 is very easy to get to from all over District 1. It get's lively at night. The building on the pictures I have uploaded are all small bars/restaurants and creative studio's with great views. Usually very small shops and bars. Very nice. You have to pay for the elevator to go up, but the stairs are for free.
The area in front of the building is also nice to stroll around. The REX hotel (a hotel with history) is also in that area and they have a great rooftop bar as well.
Nguyen Hue walking street is a great visit in a great city and compared to the other walking street at Bui Vien this one is more relaxing and less noise pollution so to say.
Its crowd and busy at night, so many youngsters and foreigner walking arounds. With the shops open till 10pm, and lots of lights, this is a great space to spend some time enjoying the nigh life. Plenty of action and things to see, many coffee shop as well. Nice to have a drink and talk.
Suggest starting your evening with a cocktail at the rooftop bar of either the Rex Hotel or the Majestic Hotel...............
Always fun and crowded .. I like the new oak built in front of rex really enhances the atmosphere
Iconic long pedestrian stretch surrounded by business, luxury brands, tourist traps and the occasional delightful not-so-boring little shop/restaurant. Great spot to people watch and do photography.
