Good space for world renowned artists to exhibit their work here. Been here a couple of times, truly enjoyed my time here. From where I came from, art exhibits are few and far in between. So I can only visit art galleries and museums when I'm abroad.
But note that there are other galleries in the same building. So don't be afraid to check out the other floors.
My one criticism is that they don't open on Sundays where most people would be free to spend their time. For those who work 6 days a week, it's difficult to find a time that allows them to slowly take their time to enjoy these exhibits. So I urge these galleries to consider having Sundays opened to public while reserving one of the more busier days, i.e. Mondays or Tuesdays to be their off days as most people would be too busy to take their time to visit an art gallery.
A very quiet gallery with a few art pieces displaying and for sale. The owner Ms. Koo is elegant and polite, she could recommend the arts and tell the story behind. A nice time spent with her and listen to her.
Great boutique art gallery that presents both Japanese and Hong Kong artists mainly plus some big names as Warhol, Basquiat, Helmut Newton, and Currin among others. It's quite hidden so look for it carefully.
The staff is super friendly and bilingual (quite an advantage).
A place to connect and learn. Of course also a place to buy art! The owners see at as a full contact sport. A rich experience awaits if you have time and are curious. Great for local insights and connections in the creative scene!
A lot of Chinese tourists taking photos in front of it, the mural has also started to degrade a little bit. Nice to pass by it but there are so many better street art in the area
This wall is in the city. But it is hard to go there, because the city has very complicated roads. If you go there, you should check how to get there in advance.
Located on Hollywood Road Central Hong kong. You’ll find different kind of street murals featuring different icons. Find your best spot for your best shot!
A great gallery with an interesting slate of artists, including numerous young, emerging Asian artists. I have a special place in my heart for these smaller galleries with stables of artists they believe in. Drop in next time you are in Hong Kong and learn a little more about Eric Fok, Carmen Ng, Chloe Cheuk and others beside.
Designed by Hong Kong! Not much stunning innovative idea but you will be surprised by the detail of cultural elements, material, concept of the products. It is worth taking time to stop by and explore. A lots of great idea for souvenirs, no more useless postcard and key chains =P
I have bought a degradable water bottle, good quality and I'm still using it.
Friendly and knowledgeable management with excellent taste in choice of artists to promote and sell their works. Always made to feel welcome. Go regularly.
