Jonathan Hopson Gallery is a lovely art gallery nestled in Montrose. The space is beautiful (the gallery is in a home built in the early 1900s), and Jonathan as well as his wife Debra do a great job of guiding visitors through the exhibitions.
It is that strength that keeps me coming back to Jonathan Hopson Gallery. Jonathan has an innate talent in helping his visitors open up a dialogue with the artist's works by being available to explain who the artist is, what materials they work with, and why they wanted their show to look a certain way. Few people have the ability to moderate effectively, and it is a joy to explore Jonathan's exhibitions because of it.
