Grandeur of Jaipur... The most scenic palace in the city ... It is a must see if you like royalty, grandeur, design and opulence... The 4 season doors are part of millions of images across the world ... Do take some time on hand as it is generally crowded and some good shots will take some time

This beautiful palace represents the rich culture Jaipur still holds on to. You will find a perfect blend of the Rajputana and European style of architecture. The vast property represents the grandeur and heritage of the royal families of the bygone era.
The walls are beautifully sculpted and decorated with mirrors and hand paintings. You will also witness how detailed the carvings are done on the roofs of the palace
The entire palace becomes a window which gives you the privilege to peek into the stories of the past and the true sense of the authentic culture adopted by Jaipur.
City Palace is a building that has preserved the history of the city and is an icon of grandeur. Once you enter the palace all you can do is stand transfixed by its beauty while you soak in the marvelous architecture and the artifacts inside the palace. City Palace used to be the home for the royal family of Jaipur but later it was divided into two parts; one which contains few courtyards and museums and the other where the royal family still resides.
This architectural marvel mesmerizes me every time I visit it. The level of detail the artists craft to each element of this magnificent structure is so inspirational. Do not forget to visit the "friends of the museum " Area where you'll get to meet and interact with the descendants and equally talented artists of the age old families who crafted the artworks and designed the clothes for the Royal Family.
