Reviews from visitors:
If you are interested in how humans developed comfort in life and how the things evolved even at macroscopic level. I would highly recommend you visit the three floors museum. You can click photos but not to much. If you find yourself lost in the museum there are security people in every section of the museum. You can find some screens playing videos. There is library inside which now restricted entry due to COVID19 situation.
I had a spare hour there last week with my young grandchildren. Fantastic and eye-opening discovery time for them. A little outdoors, a bissele art, quick walk-through the glass and archaeology, miniatures at the youth wing. We all loved it, even without explanation and erudite guiding.
The Israel Museum is a great destination to visit when in Jerusalem. It is a fun activity to do alone, or in a large group with other people. I would differently recommend visiting this place to anyone who is in the area. I personally enjoyed my time here.
A wonderful art collection, real treasures. Must see.
This museum was amazing. It was everying from the history of Israel to modern art. I wish I could spend more time here and hopefully will come back
