It's always fun to hang out in the market. Best market in IL. Tip: Come hungry. Lot's of great street food, fruits, pastries to grab on the way. For those of you who want to grab something fancier, right across the market there are really nice restaurants. Highly recommended.

Open and roofed market place which has in its vicinity a wide variety of fresh produce, baked goods, traditional-international and regional dishes, and vast range of other household products during the day. Lately in the last few years, excluding the pandemic era, the night life has increased with the offering of many local bars opening affecting a lively atmosphere which for the most part where the locals come out and enjoy each other’s company over the finest beverages and hospitable service by the many businesses vying for providing the most attractive offer. Definitely a hot tourist spot to check out.
If you’re running on a tight schedule and want to enjoy the best of both worlds a visit in between 4-6 pm by twilight should offer a view of both. The most packed times for the day time market place are on Fridays and holidays from 9am until an hour before sunset. For the night life attraction the best times would be Thursday and post-holiday nights 9pm-1am. Enjoy!!
Amazing atmosphere, we went there for diner on Thursday evening. Its packed, there’s tons of cute bars and small restaurants for every tastes. And in the day time, you can shop for fresh fruits, veggies, bread, nuts, fish, meat, cheese, juices, wine but also cute jewelry stores, and so much more. We didn’t have time to walk it all. I’m sure you can find anything you look for there.
A very good and fun market but it's a shame they don't save enough now in the Corona period
