Fascinating history for the beautiful ceramics produced here. Found on our final day. Filled the afternoon with cour & very difficult choices- would have loved to have purchased many items. Such gorgeous colours & designs. Treat yourselves!
2 Museum on the Seam

What a great museum. It's small enough to be intimate and interesting. It has a definite artistic agenda that is unique and much needed, focusing on human and animal rights, ecology and other aspects of the modern life. The house has is own bleeding history that is very much present everywhere. The cherry on top is a quiet coffee shop on the roof with beautiful views of the former border line and an extensive art library.
5 Barbur Art Gallery

Niche gallery supporting independent artists. This is real communal artistry.
8 Sarah’s Tent Gallery

We visited Jerusalem for the first time in 2018 and what an amazing, interesting and historical city. We were so taken back by this vibrant and exciting place that we wanted a piece of memorabilia. Sarah's Tent Art Gallery was the perfect choice and we have a piece of Israel proudly displayed from the Gallery. Gabriel, was certainly a person who made the whole experience easy, which arrived safely in Australia. I would highly recommend when in Jerusalem visit Gabriel at the Gallery.

14 Museum of Psalms מוזיאון התהלים

I have been knowing the Museum of Psalms for years and visitied it frequently, had close contact to Moshe Tsvi Halevi Berger and to Mordechai Balouka as well. I bought books and prints when I visited the museum, and some weeks ago, I purchased two wonderful prints of psalm 103 and psalm 112. Although the pandemic caused a short delay of the shipment, the comunication, the packing, and the transaction was outstanding.

It’s a small place in front of the Old city close to park area full of Jerusalem spirit. Old buildings are taken by artists and were transformed to workshops. Paintings, photographs, jewelry, ceramics, Judaic shops. You can watch artists at work also.
There is a small kosher coffee shop.
A very nice site to visit.
