Proffesional and captivating art exhibitions are rotated regularly. Support and security staff are always within sight. Safe parking. Well stocked cafeteria. Architectural experience is 100% on par for a gallery that hosts a diversity of artists. Easy to access for able and disabled bodies.
As an Art student in Wits, I go here often and almost everytime I go, there are new artworks being shown. When I have rehearsals at night I sometimes see art exhibitions being held and Q&As being held with the artist present. A great all-round Museum.
Nice place to meet for business meetings in and around Wits and Braamfontein. Accessible to members of the public. Limited secure parking available along Jorissen street. The food is nice and a bit pricey.
This place has amazing energy from its art sculptures to quaint coffee shop and above it is offices and lecture rooms of the WITS art students.
Very accommodating, very educational and even good for kids. I highly recommend WAM.
