Reviews from visitors:
We were recommended to Keystone Repair by my son's instructor after noticing some of the keys on his sax just weren't lining up correctly. I am beyond thankful for the recommendation. John (at Keystone) was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and full of great tips for keeping the sax in good working order. His repairs were top notch and completed in a very timely manner. I truly can't say enough positive things about our experience! If/when we need repairs again, well definitely be back!!
I highly recommend John at Keystone Music Repair. I brought a seasoned trumpet for cleaning and minor repairs. John took meticulous care to thoroughly clean the instrument and to grease each slide and key. The mouthpieces now gleam and damaged or missing mute cork was replaced. The cost was very reasonable and the work was finished within two weeks as promised. John truly brought my trumpet back to life! We will definitely be back for any future musical instrument maintenance needs.
John repaired and restored our son's oboe, and it sounds like a completely new instrument! Thank you to John for the care he took, the expertise of his work, and the excellent results - we couldn't be more pleased! Communication was excellent also. Will definitely bring the oboe back here the next time it needs it.
The best my instrument has felt/ sounded in years! Repairs were expensive, but worth it for how much work was needed. I will definitely be going back in the future. Very quick turn around time, and lots of care taken to make sure instruments were properly and safely dealt with during a pandemic.
I was referred to John at Keystone Music Repair from a local music store when I called inquiring about flute repairs. I had taken my daughter’s flue to a chain music shop last winter and they shipped it out and apparently cleaned and repaired it but it quickly broke again. John was very knowledgeable and honest about what he recommended. We ended up doing a quick repair so that my daughter could play the instrument and then I brought it back so that John could do a full cleanup. It looks beautiful and sounds great too! John made everything very easy from scheduling to payment, and with limited interaction in these COVID times. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring an instrument to John for repair.
