This kayak adventure was one of the highlights of my trip in Maui. Erica, our guide, was so sweet, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She even showed us how to listen for whale calls (which is something I will never forget!) Snacks and water were provided. The location where we went kayaking was absolutely breathtaking, beautiful views everywhere you looked. We saw so many whales it was hard to even keep count. The snorkeling was just as fun and totally in safe waters. After our trip, Erica provided our group with the most amazing photos she had taken. We did not even have to bother bringing our phones. She also made sure to give us all the best recommendations of restaurants, hikes, etc. which was an awesome bonus! This trip was absolutely amazing. I would recommend to anyone and would definitely do it again if I ever return to Maui!
We had a blast on our kayak trip! Our guide, Zeke, was super knowledgeable and friendly. The kayaking was a great activity for beautiful day, and seeing the whales was an awesome bonus! We got to see several groups of both grown and baby humpback whales. The free photos at the end of the trip are a huge plus, too. Most companies charge for that type of thing, so it was nice that it’s included. We learned that Maui Kayak adventures cares a lot for the environment and community so we were glad we chose them for our kayaking trip. Highly recommend!
This was the highlight of our trip! We saw incredible wildlife and left completely in awe of these magnificent creatures. Zeke was our guide, and you could tell he has such a passion for what he does. My husband is a wildlife biologist, and he was impressed with how much knowledge Zeke had about Maui wildlife. This company has the upmost respect for protecting the ocean, and you can tell. There is something completely magical about being that close to whales on a kayak, and you can’t get the same experience from a boat. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!
Fantastic!! Stop shopping around- you’ve found THE BEST kayak tour company on Maui. We chose this outfit because of their mission of stewardship and focus on educating folks about conservation and protection of wildlife & their habitats. Our guide Curtis absolutely blew us away by not only teaching us these things in a powerful & memorable yet easy-going way, he also made our entire trip fun, safe, easy and super enjoyable from start to end!! He had us laughing most of the time while also being an excellent guide with clear instructions that allowed for AMAZING whale watching and snorkeling! He worked well with kids and adults, beginners and experts, answered every single question with ease and humor. I cannot speak highly enough of Curtis and Maui Kayak Adventures!!
This was WELL worth the price of admission! Curtis was a fantastic guide. Curtis is knowledgable, caring, enthusiastic, and safety conscious. He loves his job and it shows. On our trip we were able to see turtles up close and personal and whales breaching fairly close. There were a couple of nice bonuses we received- Curtis sent us a ton of great photos he had taken throughout our trip. No extra cost. In addition, he gave us some great recommendations on places to eat around the island. I can't say enough great things about our experience. Highly recommend!
